The VELUX deck mounted skylights come with an industry-first 10-year “No Leak” installation warranty that covers correct skylight and appropriate flashing installations (product and labor) against leaks, no matter who installs the skylight. Hail Warranty
Hail breakage warranty for VELUX skylights with Clean, Quiet & Safe laminated and Impact glass only.
For a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase after January 1, 2014, VELUX warrants to the end-user that VELUX Skylights with Clean, Quiet and Safe glass only will not crack or break because of hail.
Nuts and Bolts of Skylight Replacement & New Installations
Quality is rooted in treating your customer’s home the same way you want your home treated. Unlike other skylight installers, roofers, and or contractor; Sun4Light ensures your skylight replacement or new installation will not leak by removing old shingles from around the units. Once the old shingles are removed, later of underlayment is installed on the roof deck prior to the installation of the new skylight and corresponding flashing kits. We do not cut shingles, create “rain gutters”, make our own flashings when VELUX produces a stock option, or take any “shortcuts”.
Unless otherwise stated, all Sun4Light skylight installations are backed by the VELUX 10 Year No Leak Product and Installation Warranty!

Sun4Light, Inc. Is a North Carolina General Contractor specializing in the installation/replacement of Skylights, Sun Tunnels and fans. We are committed to continuous evolution to remain adept to challenges and focus on remedies to problems. The installation of these products requires extensive knowledge, product performance, craftsmanship, skills, and solid background in construction. We are committed to maintaining the most talented internal team of technicians in the area. As such, our entire leadership team holds “Certified Installer” status for CertainTeed as Master Shingler, VELUX USA, and Quiet Cool.
Not only do we support VELUX and QuietCool, but roofers and contractors depend on us to remedy installation issues. If you have a VELUX product issue, odds are Sun4Light will be dispatched to evaluate your problem!
Non-warranty service rates: $175 service call, $65 per hour after the first hour, $65 per hour for travel. Every attempt to evaluate and determine the problem will be made via photos.
